London’s W Hotel has been put up for sale for an estimated £200m ahead of its official opening next month. The luxury hotel, which will have 192 bedrooms and will be run by Starwood, is set open in the capital’s Leicester Square at the location of the former Swiss Centre. It will feature a restaurant run by Jean-Georges Vongerichten under his international Spice market brand, and the development housing the hotel will also include apartments and retail space. Owner McAleer & Rushe has instructed property agents Jones Lang Lasalle to handle the sale.
