Pontin’s, the holiday camp operator, which collapsed into administration last week has received 50 expressions of interest since the appointment of KPMG. Pontin's appointed KPMG last Friday after experiencing a dramatic fall in bookings. The parks – Brean Sands in Somerset, Camber Sands in Sussex, Pakefield in Suffolk, Prestatyn Sands in Wales and Southport in Merseyside – will remain open and taking bookings as usual. Bridge Leisure has been brought in by the administrators of Pontin's to manage the parks until a buyer has been found. No redundancies have been made, and KPMG is said to be confident of finding a buyer and retaining the Pontin's name.
