Noodle House, the Jumeirah Restaurants-owned restaurant brand, has been awarded Superbrand status for 2012. The Superbrand status is assigned to a company or a brand based on market dominance, quality, trust, longevity, goodwill, customer loyalty and market acceptance. The Superbrands organisation, which began in 1994, analyses the history and strength of different brands in over 87 countries. Launched in 2002, Noodle House currently operates 21 restaurants across eight countries. Earlier this year, Jumeirah Restaurants, which is led by ex-Starbucks executive Phil Broad, signed agreements to open sites under the brand in Russia, Lebanon and Bahrain next year. The group, which also operates the Sana Bonta, Urbano, AllFreshCo, Rice + Spice and The Flaming Revolution brands, recently opened its first Noodle House sites in Kuwait, Dubai and Pakistan. It has previously spoken of bringing the Noodle House brand to the UK. Broad said: “We are extremely proud to be awarded the Superbrand status for 2012. This achievement reflects our hard work and continuous efforts towards developing The Noodle House brand in the course of the past 10 years. It is a great honour to be recognised by an international award-giving body for achieving high standards of excellence and quality services.”
