Sarah Fox, the former Whitbread and Spirit Group executive, has taken the helm at Lovejuice, the fledgling chain of juice bars. Fox has joined the 15-strong group as managing director, working closely with entrepreneur John Heseltine, who founded the business five years ago at Stansted Airport. She told M&C Report: “It’s a bit like the coffee bar business was about 12 years ago. It’s fascinating, and very exciting.” In addition to working for Spirit and Whitbread – where she was operations and property director for Costa Coffee – Fox co-founded the Santa Fe chain and has worked with Maison Blanc. Lovejuice will this year open bars in Bristol’s Cabot Circus development and Peterborough’s Queensgate shopping centre, taking it to 17 sites. The company recently acquired Northern rival Barefruit, which operated five juice bars.
