Busaba Eathai, the Thai restaurant chain founded by Alan Yau, is set to open a new site on London’s Old Street on 19 August, taking its estate to five units in the capital. The restaurant group, bought from Yau for £21.5m in 2008, opened its fourth site in Panton Street in London's West End in March. The company, which also operates sites in Bird Street, Store Street and Wardour Street, is looking to open a further site in London before the end of the year and is also exploring locations for its first unit outside of the capital.
